Plans, free hours and billing
How the Free plan works, what happens when the hours run out, and how to upgrade, downgrade or cancel.
Every account starts on the Free plan, without a card. Paid plans remove the time limit and add memory, slots and backups. The current limits of each plan are on the pricing page.
How the Free plan works
A Free server runs in sessions with a daily and a monthly allowance of hours. The panel shows the time left and the hour at which the server will stop. When a Free node is full, your start waits in a short queue; the panel shows your position.
When the hours run out
The server stops and saves the world; nothing is deleted. You can start it again when your allowance renews, or upgrade to keep playing straight away.
Upgrade
Open Plan and usage in your account and pick a plan. You pay with a card, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe; we never see your card number. The upgrade is immediate, and the days left on your previous plan are credited.
Downgrade or cancel
You can move to a smaller plan or back to Free from the same page. The change takes effect immediately and any balance left is kept for your next charges. If your world is larger than the new plan allows, the panel tells you before you confirm.
Invoices
Every charge produces an invoice, sent by email and listed in Billing with a PDF to download. Add your tax details there before the charge if you need them on the invoice.
A payment failed
We retry the charge and email you. If it keeps failing, the paid servers are suspended, not deleted; update your payment method in Billing to bring them back.
