Getting started with 1up-servers
Create your account, pick a game and have your first server running in a few minutes.
1up-servers runs game servers for you in European data centres. You choose the game, we start the server in a container on one of our game nodes, and you get an address your friends can type. You do not install anything on your computer.
Create your account
Sign up with your email, Discord or Google. Confirm your email address from the message we send you: until you confirm it, you cannot start a server. The Free plan needs no card.
Create your first server
- Open the panel and press Create server.
- Pick a game. Minecraft asks you for an edition (Java or Bedrock) and a version; the other games start with their recommended settings.
- Choose the region closest to you and your friends. The wizard shows the measured ping to each one.
- Give the server a name and confirm. The panel shows the progress while the node downloads the image and prepares the world.
When the status turns Online, the server is ready. The first start takes longer than the next ones because the world is generated.
What you see in the panel
- Overview: status, players online, memory and the address to share.
- Console: the live log of the game and a command line.
- Players: who is online, the whitelist, operators and bans.
- Files: the server files, if you want to edit a configuration by hand.
- Backups: copies of your world you can restore or download.
Next steps
Read how to connect to your server and invite your friends. If something does not work, check the platform status first and then write to us from Support in the panel.
