Report content or copyright
Anyone, with or without an account, can tell us about illegal content, abuse or a copyright infringement on a server we host.
This text has not been reviewed by a professional yet
Draft written by the team. The owner of the service is not incorporated yet, so its identity details are marked as pending, and the document is waiting for the review of a legal adviser before it has contractual value.
1. What you can report
Illegal content under EU or national law (Digital Services Act, article 16), child sexual abuse material, abuse of the service such as attacks or malware, copyright infringement (DMCA notice), and counter-notices against a copyright removal.
2. Report form
Give the exact location (server address or id, URL or file), explain why the content is illegal or infringing, and leave your name and email so we can answer. For child sexual abuse material your name and email are optional.
3. What happens next
We send an automatic acknowledgement to the email you give, with a reference. We review reports diligently and objectively, in order of severity, and may preserve evidence. If you report as a trusted flagger or authority, say so in the details.
4. Our decision
We tell you what we decided and why, and whether automated means were used. If we act against content, the server owner receives a statement of reasons and may appeal within 6 months. You may also appeal a decision not to act within the same period.
5. Copyright notices (DMCA)
A copyright notice must include: (1) your physical or electronic signature; (2) the copyrighted work; (3) the material that infringes it and where it is; (4) your contact details; (5) a statement of good-faith belief that the use is not authorised; and (6) a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner. The form collects all six.
6. Counter-notice
If your material was removed by mistake or misidentification you may send a counter-notice with the same form: identify the material and where it was, state under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and give your name, address and consent to the jurisdiction of the competent court. We forward it to the person who sent the notice and restore the material in 10 to 14 business days unless they tell us they have filed a court action.
7. Repeat infringers
We close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyright, in appropriate circumstances, after valid notices that were not successfully contested.
8. Designated agent
Our designated agent under 17 U.S.C. 512(c) is pending registration with the US Copyright Office, as the legal notice shows. Until then send notices through this form.
