How much RAM does your Garry's Mod server need?
Garry's Mod boots on 2 GB and has room to spare on 4 GB. This is the RAM each plan gives you and whether the game fits in it.
A Garry's Mod server needs its own Steam Game Server Login Token (GSLT). It is free at steamcommunity.com/dev/managegameservers and you paste it into the server settings; without it the server does not appear in the public browser.
