How to connect to your server
The address, the port, Bedrock players and the invite link for your friends.
Every server gets a stable address under play.1up-servers.com. You find it on the Overview of your server and in Network, with a button to copy it.
The address
The address looks like your-name.play.1up-servers.com. For Minecraft Java you type it as it is, without a port: we publish an SRV record that tells the game which port to use. Other games show the address together with the port, for example your-name.play.1up-servers.com:2456; copy it exactly as the panel shows it.
You can change the first part of the address in Network → Subdomain. The change takes about a minute to reach every player.
Minecraft Java
- Open Minecraft and choose Multiplayer → Add server.
- Paste the address and save.
- Join. If the game says it cannot connect, check that the server is Online in the panel.
Minecraft Bedrock and console friends
Turn on Allow Bedrock players in Network. Bedrock players then join on port 19132 with the same address. The bridge applies on the next start of the server, so restart it after turning it on. Consoles only list featured servers, so console players usually join through a friend's phone or PC on the same account.
Other games
Valheim, Palworld, Terraria, Rust and the rest show the address, the port and, when the game asks for one, the server password on the Overview. Some games list the server in their own browser a few minutes after it starts.
Invite your friends
Share the invite link from the Overview. It opens a page with the address, the game version and the steps to join, in your friend's language.
It does not connect
- The status must be Online, not Starting.
- The game version on your computer must match the server version.
- If the whitelist is on, add your friends in Players.
- Check the platform status for an incident in your region.
