Draft written by the team for launch. The identity details of the company appear between double brackets and the document is pending the review of our legal adviser before it has contractual value.
1. Data controller
The controller is [[COMPANY LEGAL NAME]], with registered address at [[REGISTERED ADDRESS]] and tax number [[TAX NUMBER]]. For any privacy matter write to [[PRIVACY EMAIL]]; we answer within one month at most.
2. Which data we process
We process your account data (email, display name and Discord or Google identifier if you sign in with them), the billing data the payment needs, the technical logs of the platform including your IP address, and the usage data of the servers you create.
3. What we use it for
We use it to create and run your servers, charge subscriptions, prevent abuse and fraud, answer your questions and, if you accept, measure in aggregate which pages are visited. We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
4. Legal basis
We process account and payment data to perform the contract, technical logs and anti-abuse measures under our legitimate interest in the security of the service, tax records under a legal obligation, and web analytics only with your consent.
5. Web analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to learn which pages are used. No analytics script is loaded and no measurement cookie is stored until you accept it in the cookie notice, and you can withdraw your consent with one click from the cookie policy: withdrawing takes the script off the page, switches the measurement off and deletes the _ga and _ga_* cookies your browser holds.
6. Who else processes your data
We work with providers acting on our behalf: Stripe for payments, OVHcloud and AWS for the infrastructure, and Google for analytics when you accept it. All of them are bound by a data processing agreement.
7. International transfers
Your servers and their backups are hosted in the European Union. Some providers may access data from outside the European Economic Area under the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission, whose detail you can request at [[PRIVACY EMAIL]].
8. How long we keep it
We keep account data while the account is active and up to 30 days after it closes, invoices for the years tax rules require, technical logs for up to 90 days, and Free plan worlds while you sign in to the panel at least once every 60 days.
9. Your rights
You can access your data, rectify it, erase it, restrict or object to its processing and ask for a portable copy by writing to [[PRIVACY EMAIL]]. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country if you believe we handled your request badly.
10. Security
We encrypt traffic in transit, store passwords with argon2id, isolate every game server in its own container with no host access, and limit internal access to data to the staff who need it.
